Getting Ready for Christmas

It feels like Christmas now that the tree is decorated and we have had our first snow! The pictures of the snow is around our house! I don't know if I am used to seeing ICE on my cars temperature gage in the morning, but I have gotten used to bundeling up the kids everday. This is my favorite time of the year and I am trying to make it fun for Lauren and Clay by making cookies, reading Christmas stories, decorating, going to the ward Christmas Party and much more!

Halloween

This was a whole new expierance with Halloween this year. It was fun to have two kids fully dressed up, even though Lauren wasn't quite getting why she was missing her bedtime. Clay really understood the true meaning of Halloween this year. We attended the "Trunk or Treat" with our ward. I felt a little homesick knowing we wouldn't be "Trunk or Treating" with our old ward in Buckeye. But those feelings were replaced when I saw my children having a good time.

County Fair

When the county fair comes to town everone in Roswell attends the opening day parade and fair. All schools are let out that day and the town kind of comes to a stop. It is a huge parade and the kids loved it. Clay got to attend the fair another day with his school and got to ride rides and diffrent activities for free. This was his first fieldtrip and I was lucky enough to attend with him. Here are some pictures of us at the parade and later at the fair with Clay's friends.

Moving

Sorry about not having any new posts latley. As you all know we have been in the middle of moving and out of town. This has move has been very time consuming and I am just ready to be settled. We also have not set up internet at our new home, it is hard to get internet service where we live being that we are so far out. Keep checking we will have a new post soon. I hope everyone is doing well!

Pink Sparkly Shoes

My friend Amy got Lauren these Guess pink shoes for her Birthday. Lauren has obsession with shoes, she is always has a pair of shoes in her hands or on her feet. When she puts these cute shoes on she loves to watch her feet can do in them. I think she is turning into a little Diva!!

Clay's Panda School

Clay is now attending Parkview Elementry. They offer a Pre-K Program. They have a big Panda painted on the front of the school, so he calls it Panda School. He goes Mon-Thurs from 8:45-11:15. He is really enjoying it and has a new school story each day!

Our Trip to San Diego

Our family was in desperate need of a vacation!! We got to go spend time with Dallas' family in Mission Beach. Might I add in Beach House (something that I have always wanted to do). Clay was excited about seeing the beach! Not only did he get to see the beach for the first time but he also got to be there with his best friend Ty. Ty's family was vacationing there the same time we were. That was probably one of his happiest moments. Lauren had sand for breakfast and lunch ( I couldn't keep it out of her mouth)! Dallas, his dad and sister took surfing lessons. I think that will be Dallas' first and last surfing lesson, he was sooo soar the next day. We had such a good time with our family and Ty's Family, we were not ready to come back to reality!!

Our Baby is 1

That is right, our little Baby Lauren is one! We celebrated her Birthday this weekend. We ordered her a specialty cake from Mama Tuckers's Doughnut & Cake Shop (It was delicious!). She was happy to wake up to her new pink ride along horse, along with her new clothes and pajamas! Clay was not so sure about all of this, he thought the celebration and presents were for him. Although, he did tell Lauren Happy Birthday and gave her a kiss.

The have a really neat Zoo here in Roswell, and did I mention that it is FREE! We are probably there at least once a week. Clay insits on taking his bicycle evertime we go, but does a really good job of staying on it the whole time. This is a picture of Clay in front of the bear exhibit.

Lauren's Got Hair

Clay's Pony Ride

We attended the Artesia County Fair last weekend. Clay got to go on two pony rides, some of the carni rides (yuck), and got to see the show animals. He had a blast!

Lauren was so happy to be in her new dress that Aunt Paula had bought for her.

Our Trip To AZ

We just got back from being in Arizona for a whole month and a half!! It is nice to be in our own home again. Dallas would drive & fly back on the weekends just to see us, because he missed us so much!! It seemed as though the whole time we were there we were on the go so much that we hardly got to take it easy! We attended three Weddings while we where there, two of which I was in. Our fourth of July was lots of fun at Forest Highlands in Flagstaff. We got to spend time with my Pop and Gma and the rest of my dad's family up there. We didn't have any fireworks which was a bummer. The best part of being there was catching up with our family and friends!!

Grandma Jean's Cabin

This was the first time my kids have been to Grandma Jean's cabin in Williams. I was real excited about them going, I have many childhood memories at Grandma Jean's Cabin. Most importantly we got to spend time with Grandpa & Grandma!

Fourth of July at Forest Highlands

There are many fun things for the kids to do at Forest Highlands. We had such a great time with our family & friends there. We can't wait to go back next Fourth of July!!

Lauren's Adventure at Peter Piper Pizza

This was Lauren's first time riding on the rides at Peter Piper. She was a little unsure at first but then got real excited. When it ended she did not want to get down. Don't worry I sanitized her after the ride.

Clay's Cat Face

Clay has been going to Summer Preschool here in Roswell. One day he came home with his new "Look at my Cat Face" as he would call it!! He wanted to leave it on the rest of the day.
